As Pollination is a fair migration for many people of this planet, the journey to the heart of the Cariboo may seem daunting to the uninitiated. Know that you will be taken care of, and it is worth the journey - in fact the journey itself is worth the journey!

In the spirit of community and rising gas prices, may this space serve to connect those who are in need of transport, or who have transport to offer. Please reply to this post if you are of the above...

Also, if there is interest, there is the thought of a communal bus or van rental from the coastal areas to bring folks up and back again. If anyone is interested in pursuing this for the greater good (i.e. organizing a vehicle, driving, etc.), please post here so that others can be informed. This would require enough confirmed travellers to make it worthwhile endeavour, but the cost for travel can be pretty reasonable if it is split between enough people...

Please feel free to email pollination1@gmail.com if you have any questions...

May you have safe, pleasant, and peaceful journeys.... :)

The fierce weather only serves to bring the people closer together, in shelter from the elements, and warmed by the bright smiles surrounding.
Thank you Mother Earth...

And a great many thanks to all the people who contributed to make the event a success, too many to name, but all acknowledged in the hearts and minds of all who attended. Big, big thanks to the Victoria crew for bringing sound gear and so much talent, Crystal and Debbie from the Gecko Tree for the delicious food, everybody who donated precious time, our financial sponsors, DJ's and workshoppers for bringing everybody together, and the beautiful bunch of people who were able to take the time to attend.... THANK YOU!

To those who planned to attend but could not make it, big hugs, we were all there together in the transcendant realm and we were catching glimpses of you in the corners of our eyes and hearing your laughter in the distance. Spirit is eternally united.

Of course, fools do have more fun...
Pollination looks like an incredible event. I'd love to meet some new people as well as meet up with some old friends.

It *is* a big journey, especially from Vancouver Island, so I'm still thinking about things. For me a primary question is whether or not there is internet access on site. I don't plan on using the net, not even for email access, but I'm contracted to monitor some servers so I pretty well need to be able to connect to the net in case of an emergency wherever I am -- and highspeed is much preferred to dial-up. Let me know -- if it's a yes, then I can seriously consider coming.

Peace

This tribe is a creation of the Cariboo Dreamcatcher Collective, a recently formed association of artists, scientists, poets, gardeners, lovers and liberators of the truth, who have blended their creative juices to manifest the multi-faceted event called Pollination.

Pollination draws on as many sources of wisdom as possible in order to focus and present alternative ways of being, creating, and interacting in the context of the emergent subculture that is spreading across the globe and seeking to shed the old and outmoded habits that maintain separation, inequality, and ignorance in modern society. As we share the essence of ourselves, through workshops, performance, dance, and open communication, we form connections and open channels and for the transmission of future culture, a culture that we create in each and every moment we share with each other. We connect the dots, fill in the blanks, and find the missing pieces of the puzzle that is reality, and that we seek to know as wholeness and transcendent unity.

May this tribe serve as a bridge between minds, to connect the ideas, impulses, and inspirations that float through our minds every day, looking for an outlet or medium to be expressed through.

We are always open to statements of interest from anyone who would like to be involved with this event in any way. Artists, DJs, musicians, and anybody wishing to contribute with a workshop or other ideas (or just to say hi) , are invited to contact us:
