If it is your own luau party, with friends over and causual.. go for hapa haole style. Like Little Brown gal. Keep your eyes on the hands... etc
If more formal, like a paid gig [make sure you are well versed in your hula before doing this] Then a combination. I absolutly love dancing to Maunaleo by Keali'i Reichewell almost any of his songs] and maybe for a little flash a cool kahiko piece. -
