Well, jeez if nobody wants ta talk then I will...
When I was twelve years old I lived in northern Mass. (Fitchburg area) and there was this local rock group called the Wild Thing (singular not plural) - They mostly played covers, Grand Funk 'n shit, but what made them special was their humongous pompadours - They all had really long hair, dyed with colored streaks in it (this was before glam rock, even), and they had it hair sprayed up into these ten-inch high pompadours (four guys in the group, all of 'em had these crazy doos - one of 'em had a Fu Manchu beard too) - I took some snapshots when I saw them once but they've been lost in one of many moves since 1970...
