Sauvie Cove RV Park has RV spaces, Tent Spaces, and Yurts, they have a huge grassy area surrounded by the yurts, and every yurt has a fire pit :-) I have gotten the OK to hold a fire arts campout from the manager of the park. Thinking -potluck style, everyone bring plenty and we all share :-),Fire toy play as well as hanging out on the beach, several to choose from and farther down are nude beaches :-) swimming, windsurfing, kayaks and canoes, bring your water toys are all a possibility at this point in time :-) Currently looking for anyone that can make a flier and everyone to get the work out. This is going to be an awesome campout, lets all help build it :-)

I'm all for it! Maybe should keep it smallish for the first run? These suckers can easily get big and organizationally horrendous. Anyway, you mention having the OK from the manager, how bout the fire marshal? This an all ages event? What's the rules on alchohol? etc.. etc.. Either which way, sounds like a blast!

    Peace,
    - Sui

Well I am going to make it as large as it can be, but it is going to be Bring your own everything. Organizationally this should be pretty smooth, come out and play and if you want to stay I can provide the number to book a space :-) As far as the fire marshall goes, its a HUGE open grassy area surrounded by fire pits. Should be the same as permitting any other event I Imagine. Yup all ages event, and as far a booze goes, yeah its ok bring it :-) We might even have some home brew my firend makes ,, yummy :-)

I have so much work that I have put into this thing already, then we would have everyone doing the work LOL changing everything now is not really something I would like to do.

I want to encourage dancers and jugglers of all kinds to come to this event. I should have an event posting sometime this week, if not tonight. stay tuned for details :-)

Vendors welcome :-) (Call for space restrictions 503-734-5780)

This is a bring your own everything kind of event with no plans. I love giving an event the option to grow and evolve with the energy of the crowd. Its fun to watch too :-) It is a park with campsites, yurts, and full hookup rv spaces. There is plenty of access to drinking water, and showers. Restrooms on site as well. Hell bring a grate and bbq over one of the many fire pits :-) there is a pit located in front of each yurt, a couple in the tent camping area, and at the RV hookups.

Dont wanna stay? come out and play anyway :-) If you decide to stay please check in with manager before setting up :-)

If you do wanna stay over, I already have some responses from people that are wanting to make reservations, so you may wanna call soon to reserve :-) Or you can email reservation requests to info@islandcovepark.com.
