Wed, March 19, 2008 - 8:44 PMSilk is excellent. It's the brainchild of Khiet Van's son and daughter-in-law. Khiet Van is the patriarch of the Pho Van restaurants, which introduced a lot of non-Vietnamese Portlanders to Vietnamese cuisine. His son wanted to broaden that and thus was born Silk (which initially started as Pho Van Bistro, or something like that). Glad you liked it.
