Transition from crib to toddler bed?

Hey ladies,

Just wondering when most people transistioned their baby from crib to a toddler bed?

    Just after my son's 3rd birthday. He was so ready for it, more so than we were, but we needed the crib for the new baby and wanted to transition him well before the arrival of his brother. It all went very smoothly...
