Mon, May 19, 2008 - 8:02 AMMy good friend and her 2 yr old son did, and we had initially planned on going together, but wound up driving out of town for the day (family b-day obligations started earlier than i thought).
A small part of me- no, ok, a large part of me- the part that hates heat with a passion is extremely glad we didn't go as i'm already reading friend's blogs about the bone-crushing crowds, zero shade, and ungodly heat making it really nasty on ya.
I love the man tho, and woulda been happy to have seen our next president before he takes office. -

Hilary's for Obama!
Mon, May 19, 2008 - 10:36 AMI met Michelle Obama on Saturday, she visited the campaign office here. I have been volunteering, Anaya and I even went canvassing together. So I got a call that I should come down, so I did and she was there. I worked the last rally here and got to hear him speak.

Portland is DEFINITELY an Obama friendly town.
If it wasn't crazy hot it would have been great to hear him.
