Constructive criticism is always good, so I thought I'd start a thread about some of the events we've hosted recently and invite people to share their feedback with the group. Kudos are welcome, and ideas for improvement are highly sought after. Just remember that if there was something you didn't enjoy, or thought could have been done better, we expect you to recommend a solution rather than just venting spleen. :)

Although, when we go bacak to the restaurant on July 28, I will coach the servers on how to handle our separate checks. Monday was a bit too much. OY!

Wed, June 25, 2008 - 10:42 PMI think we also need to get them to stagger the orders, rather than trying to bring everyone's food all at once. That's the reason they gave Me for why they don't want to split the tickets: because the kitchen can't time all of them right that way. Let's get them out of that mind-set, and see if we can't get them to do what I suggested in the first place: one chair, one ticket--and the food comes as it comes.
That's My suggestion. I'll gladly leave the details to you, though. -

I've told them the same thing as well. I will be speaking directly with the GM when I make the reservation for the July Munch and will clearly express our guidance.

Sun, June 29, 2008 - 10:32 PMOkay. Mission accomplished. I spoke with the GM and told him that we want the checks and orders to be entered as separate checks from the beginning and NOT at the end. 45 minutes to wait for someone to take our money is way, way too long.
He said they will do whatever we want. (Whatever *I* want....now that's really opening the door!!)
We are set for Monday, July 28th.

Tue, July 29, 2008 - 1:11 PMAnd guess what!!! They did it!! Our server Jessica was able to keep our checks separate from the start and we got everything including drinks, food, checks and smiles in a timely friendly fashion!!!
