As happens time to time I am in a dry spell with my authors. Anyone have any worth reading? I read Sherrilyn Kenyon, Christine Feehan, Katie MacAlister, J.R. Ward, Kim Viehl-all of thier series. And a couple other singles by various authors. But the well has dried up for now and I need to be refreshed. I've almost re-read all my Kenyon and need some newbies. Anyone?

Re: Any new releases worth looking at?
Sat, April 26, 2008 - 9:34 PMhhmmm... i'm new here BUT after seeing what kind of books you guys are into i have an author or two for you to check out. :)
I LOVE Christine Feehan by the way I've read all of her books, but another great author I love is Lynsay Sands. Her vampire series is GREAT and they are full of action/adventure and humor. :) I never read any of her books without laughing, and the characters and their races history in these books are cool. She came up with a great (theory) explanation for the beginning of their vampire race for this series. In fact, everytime i read one of her books and then read a book from the dark series i had to switch my mind back and forth between species and who was good and bad. :P You'll understand if you read both series.
Another author who is great is Karen Marie Moning!! Her books aren't about vampires they're about druids, but her new fever series is REALLY good. :) The other series she has is the highlander series and those were a great read too.
Hope you guys check them out, let me know what you think!

Re: Any new releases worth looking at?
Sun, April 27, 2008 - 6:23 PMKresley Cole has a new book out from her Immortals After Dark Series. It is #4 {Dark Needs At Night's Edge} and # 5 {Dark Desires After Dusk} will be out in I think June or July.
I recently finished reading "The Accidental Werewolf" by Dakota Cassidy. I thought it was well written and has a few lighter moments. She also has another book coming out in July, "Accidentally Dead".
Before that I re-read "Ivy Cole and the Moon" by Gina Farago and I recently ordered the follow up book "Luna"
Then if anyone is into Patricia Briggs' Mercedes Thompson's world, the first book of Anna and Charles {Cry Wolf} comes out in July as well. -

Re: Any new releases worth looking at?
Mon, April 28, 2008 - 6:39 PMI've read I think one or two Kresley Cole books, but they didn't really grab me. But to each their own... I might look up Moning, and I forgot the other one that looked good because I can't see it while I'm typing a reply, but the one similar to Feehan. Thanks everyone for the recs. Keep them coming!
