Bay Area beatdr_p (babd.org) curates events focused around crisp, deep minimal
techno and tech-house through the use of both live Djing and techno
production.
As a part of our August event techno 2.0 series, we're bringing
together an assortment of beatdr_ppers to three venues in san francisco
"Mischief", Friday, Aug 11 at the Rx Gallery, kicks things off with
live minimal techno using Abelton Live in conjunction with traditional
DJ tools. The event features producer Nexus1, 7oh1 and the solekandi
duo providing sounds from the deep tek-house underground.
"Katana", Saturday Aug 12 features two rooms of textural minimal to
maximal fusions (including micro-house, melodic techno), inspired both
by duality and precision.
