That when we have trouble remembering things, like putting the cat in the fridge and the milk out on the door step. It is at a time when on another level we are feeling more intuitivly?
My mind definitly has left town at the moment, but on other levels am getting so much intuitivly,
Have you noticed this also?
Darn where is that post button!!

Tue, January 29, 2008 - 11:37 AMI'm right there with you, Wendy - it's comforting to realize that my mental goofs are simply due to having two frequencies going on at once, lol!

Re: Has anyone else noticed?
Tue, January 29, 2008 - 9:45 PMHey, I have a certain friend that I joke with about getting the cookies out of the sink and the milk out of the oven so we can share some! Intuitive people do tend to have things preoccupying their minds a lot (very absent-minded)...common to a lot of intuitive/sensitive types, I'd say!
Especially during input/output periods!

Re: Has anyone else noticed?
Tue, January 29, 2008 - 11:17 PMThat's one of the things I love about this place....I can feel "normal" here....among like beings :-D
I experience the same type of things also.

Wed, January 30, 2008 - 6:02 AMWell there is the cliche "absent minded professor". But I don't believe everything I read and I also use Gingko Biloba. (sp) Not everything that demands attention needs to bite nuance can change the whole perspective.

Re: Has anyone else noticed?
Sun, February 3, 2008 - 5:09 PMRight. It is nice to know I'm not the only one experiencing these bouts of leaving reality for elsewhere. Lately too, I've noticed I'm remembering my dreams more and more. Some of them are the usual noise but others....I don't get at all but I record them.

Re: Has anyone else noticed?
Mon, February 4, 2008 - 6:24 PMyes I have noticed too... And I believe its a good thing... lately I have learned that not remembering things means I am being fully present and in the moment... I am more concerned with the "now" than the past... losing my "mind" is really not such a bad thing... then I can focus more on feeling and less on analysing. It also means I am more present in myself and with others.
Anyway, we are not our memories, our memories are content in consciousness, and we are consciousness itself. Memory is the whole life energy of the ego. Consciousness is our spirit expressing itself.. so when we don;t remember things, perhaps it is because we are not living from our minds, but from our heart. And that is GREAT! And we are not holding onto the past, we are just in the "now"... so next time you are putting your cat in the fridge and the milk outside, just smile and know that it was probably because you were so absorbed in teh "now" and in your feelings!
Just a thought =)

Re: Has anyone else noticed?
Fri, February 15, 2008 - 7:04 AMI have observed this phenomena in others who have gone through this evolutionary change that so many are going through. What I have gotten from it is that somewhere in that experience the mind/brain is restructuring its connections somehow. Panax Notoginseng really helps but it speeds up your metabolism too so you have to be careful with it.
I liked what -S- said about being present. Wow, I think sometimes losing the past and living completely in the present is the greatest gift you could possibly be given. Monks meditate for a decade to recieve that gift and we are given it for free! Yipee.
I do not agree that we are not our memories though. Well, not exactly. We are more our memories embedded in our feelings. How we feeling about anything (grief we can't get past, love that was unconditional and joyful) seems to be what drives Karma, at least that's what I have gathered from everything I have been taught and also my experiences with past life memories.
