I have a very lovely scrying dish it was a gift from a loved one. I often have spirits present themselves in mirrors and what I have found to be most basic is to go outside find a quiet body of water and scry w/the sky in it. Not only does this connect you w/nature it is one of the oldest forms of scrying. It will open up to that instrument very effectively. John Dee worked extensively w/a scrying mirror. Your tools will become apparent to you easily. My favorite tool is a pendulum, scrying is very relaxing and helps to calm the mind. Because the mind has to be calm to recieve information this way. The talk of morality w/in the psychic sphere is another discussion. The tools can be used for any intent. Then the user of the tools either gains the benefits or consequence of their actions.
