First of all... I'm writing a story about psionicists and mages.
I'm primarily a fan of psionics, and yet I don't know what one would say of the various levels of psi mastery.
What would a novice psychic be called, and what would an absolute master (psi-equivalent of an Arch-Mage) be called?

Oh and of course let's not forget belts in martial arts which signify levels of mastery, or people of trades (apprentice, journeyman, master), etc.? Or chess tournaments (Grandmaster)... the list goes on, and I'm just talking about examples of titles given to people with respects to their level of mastery or rank.
Ridiculous titles, indeed. The whole world's ridiculous. Yeah, that's it.
Your hostile and ignorant attitude might be why this forum has almost no activity. -

Those that have the gift/s need no title.
I have nothing to prove to no one, nor do I need to "spar" with other's in magic/k or in print.
The reason that this tribe has little to no activity is due to Tribes maintenance downtime being so long and erratic. Also, most people who practice certain forms of magic/k can have anti-social psychic behavior. -

Wed, September 10, 2008 - 10:19 PM"Spar"? Ummm, are you talking about martial arts? Martial arts mastery levels is not all that dependent upon sparring. It is dependent upon mastery of techniques and of the mind. Martial arts belts denote proficiency.
