3.Born and raised Catholic, but around age 16 my parents stopped going to church and got into studying other beliefs. Personally I got into Eastern beliefs from an appreciation of Asian art and culture. Ive taken all Ive learned from all these backgrounds and made my own conclusions!

I ended up studying world religions as a speed reader and teenager, and went pretty broad and deep. I studied Hinduism, Wicca, Paganism, Native American, Assorted Shamanic Traditions, Voodoo, Huna, Taoism, Buddhism, Christianity, Judaism, Jainism, Mithrism,
Shinto, New Age, Occult, Golden Dawn, Carlos Casteneda, .....
And then i went deep for Religious world history,
and then came back for a second helping of esoteric Christianity, Essenes, Gnostics,
Qaballah, Tanakh, Torah, Mishna, Talmud, Tarot, Mythic Archetypes and structures,
esoteric mythology, european myths, ....

The conclusion i came to about religion was that 1000 and one people had had some sort of deep experience, written it down, and it had always been mucked up from there. I never found a tradition apparently intact, always had to struggle to peice together the stuff that was apparently missing, and slowly learned and realized over time that all religious movements had been usurped by evil people and turned into money making schemes and
social hival control gimmicks.

The solution for me to make sense of it all was to use as many different religions as i could to fill in the blanks. When one disregards the apparent contradictions, and looks only for the useful connections, world religions as a whole batch can become a wonderful set,
that compliment and resolve and inform each other.

Every path had its truth and then its propagandist cover up. The easiest way to compensate for the propagandist coverup is just to expose oneself to 20 different paths, and then extrapolate a final destination given that the way they tend to do it is cut the path short by 2/3rds. Follow those starting rays, and keep on trucking with your own personal work, and eventually all of those rays meet at their common middle.
