Two Puppies Need Homes!!!

They're both sweethearts, and do well with kids, cats, and other dogs.

Okay here goes, My name is Sharla, I'm an Ordained Minister (ULC) and Equal Rights Activist which I've been since the mid-80s though I've always supprted Equal Rights from childhood. I grew up from 57-present (still working on though I hope it never really happens, I'll be 50 in Jan.). I have a vast amount of experience working both within and without the LGBT community including several years as an Officer (Media Coordinator/Secy Treasure) on the Lesbian and Gay Pride Committee of Boston in the mid-80s into the 90s. I have led workshops, been featured on radio programs regarding several issues in the larger community, most recently a feature on Gays in the Military in 2003 in addition to a segment on Polyamory and have attended many Conferences/Marches overall. In addition, I'm also a founding member of more than one LGBT organization one National in '87 and one Local '89 (Texas).

Here's the event that needs IMMEDIATE ACTION which is more importat than any more of my details at the moment:

Hi, My name is Robyn and I'm ana rt student at HSU. I also like jewelry, which is what this post pertains to.
Yesterday I discovered that one of my cherished necklaces went missing. It's made up of 5 tiny rainbow stars (tiny, as in less than an inch, and in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, adn violet) threaded on black cord.
This necklace was not only very expensive, but means a whole lot to me, as each star marks an important moment/person from ym life.
I know it sounds so cliche, and boring, but I really and freaking out here trying to find it.
If you know someone who has found it, or if you have found it, etc, please contact me and let me know!!! There will be a monetary reward!!!

Its a bummer Camp Betty has been postponed, but lets keep the spirit alive. many of us already have those days off and the camping gear ready we were going to take, so lets still go! Christa, one of the poets who was going to perform still wants to read her work, and it would be fun to have an open mic night at ye camp ground by a fireside. (I may even read a few pieces of my own work) may be you want to as well. My crazy friend Debbie has a rocken boat (bikini optional) that she has told us we can go on at the lake. I have tow toys and together it would be a BLAST. I am planning on leaving Thursday AM and staying till Monday. I have enough camping gear for 5 people and extra tents!!! So let me know what you need. Here are lists of tree campgrounds I am thinking would accommodate us and near the water. one site even has an amphitheatre!!!!

Tannery Gulch Campground
Tannery Gulch Campground is 11 miles north of Weaverville on Highway 3. Tannery Gulch is on the shore of Trinity Lake. Nestled in tall pines, firs and oaks, this campground has a hiking trail, amphitheater, boat ramp and swim beach. Trout, bass, and catfish can be caught along the shores of this campground.

Stoney Point
Situated on the northwest corner of the Stuart's Fork branch of Trinity Lake, Stoney Point is a tent only campground that offers fishing and a variety of watersports. This campground, because it has no R/V camping, is usually less crowded then most of the campgrounds in the area. Close to the mouth of the Stuart's fork, fishing for bass, trout, and catfish from the lake is excellent, and further trout fishing can be found on the Stuart's Fork of the Trinity river.

Minersville Campground

Neatly tucked into a point on the Stuart's Fork arm of Trinity Lake, Minersville is one of the more popular campgrounds on Trinity Lake. With a low water boat ramp (separate use fee of $5/day) that extends out on the point, Minersville is one of the few places to launch when water levels drop. Excellent waterskiing is available on the arm just north of Minersville, especially when the wind picks up. The lake trail leads through Minersville, which can be a beautiful and thoroughly enjoyable hike.

Way Gay on the River

Way Gay is HERE! It will take place starting on Friday the 15th of July when ever you get there and it will end on Sunday the 17th of July. Everyone will provide their own breakfast, lunch, and snacks but both of the dinners will be themed potlucks. There will be lots of super fun stuff for you to participate in. The Directions to Way Gay on the River at Hell Gate:
101 South to Highway 36
Left onto Highway 36.
Drive approximately 67 miles east on Hwy 36 toward Forest Glen.
Approximately 1 mile east of Forest Glen, turn south on the short road to the Hell Gate campground.
There should be a national campground sign that says "Hell Gate
Campground" and I am 96% sure that the sign is on the right side of the road. We will try to have some sort of sign up too.
