i recently discovered there is a name for what i am = an empath. this lead me to tribe.net which lead me from one tribe to another to another, which has brought me here. i was wondering if it were possible to expand upon my empathic/telepathic abilities and so one of your members recommended this tribe. anyway, i just wanted to know if i can play too? :)

Energy Association To Solicit Rapport

OK, I propose we start working on developing a few good, consistent energy associations that we all experience. Once we have a handful of good, strong agreements, I think we should try to focus on using those to establish a rapport between each other, and attempt the, eh, guessing-type experiments. I think we'll have much better success once we develop paralells between our energetic viewpoints...ehm, you know what I mean?

So, to start it off, I'd like to post a few:

Energetic associations from recent experience:

~heat lightning -> the intense feeling of anticipation, of oncoming changing events of large magnitude
~dulled steel -> emotionless fortitude, at the expense of the subject's flexibility
~fake cherry flavor -> those popular musical scores where the chorus and the underlying musical structure are redundant and rehashed
~the number 2 -> green, emotionally promiscuous, mothers and pregnancy, binding, nature, abstraction, female, etc., etc.
(I sound awfully synaesthetical here, don't I? I don't buy into naming it all under one big umbrella, though.)

I think these associations are simplistic, and very easy to trace the origins of. I think maybe we can expand a little on these types to build a more complex network of associations that we share. Then we can try having a little more fun :D Anybody in for trying it out? It will take some patience, I suspect, before we see any results. I think this is the reason we see a rapport from comrades, roomates, and lovers, though. They begin to create paralells through energetic associations they share, and thus can establish a rapport using that protocol.

And no, not like good guessing 'cause you know how someone thinks, so much as knowing something external to previously established associations 'cause you can feel the same as they do. Reaching an X factor by cleaning up the equation.
