I just feel happy in her classes!

I think there are two things:

First is her obvious passion for what she does--her energy, her presence, the way she dances so fluidly and can find every little nuance in the music and have *something* moving. Her enthusiasm is boundless.

Second is her heart--I was lucky enough to take a workshop with her in August, and unfortunately, my poor body couldn't keep up. I'd been doing workshops all week, hadn't eaten enough breakfast, and also have CFIDS/Fibro, so the body said "enough" after the first hour. I sat out for most of the workshop, frustrated and feeling like a huge failure (I'm grumpy when I feel sick). Rachel was very sweet--checked on me after the drills section (which is when I had to drop out), and gave me big monster smooshy hugs after and made me feel so much better.

I could probably list a ton of things but those two are the biggest reasons.

I haven't had the pleasure to meet her yet (i will in pittsburgh this november though! wooo!) but i like how when i watch her i feel challenged to do better myself with my dancing. it's not in a weird, "i-feel-threatened" way but just a "wow i can't wait till i'm that good!" way =)

that she is soooooo amazingly talented, yet such an amazingly sweet person! ive met her twice, and got hugged to bits both times, even though i was following her like a puppy LOL shes just wonderful!

Her genuine sweetness. She's an awsome performer, but an even better friend. I took her workshop at Tribal Fest this year (4 days) and she was wonderful. Great with encouragement, advice, and just plain fun. Plus, I loved how she greeted me with big hug and kiss when I saw her at the show. She is truely one of the most beautiful people I have ever had the privilege to spend time with. I can't wait to take her workshop again next year.

Rachie is da best.... she is real. Someone who has grown as big as she has the the BD world could just be a bitch, NOT Rachel, she is supportive and sweet and she is just the type of gal you want to hang out with. She sets a certain standard that others should follow, not just in her ability to dance, but in her life. The way she treats people. There are many who could and should learn for this wonderful lady.

Simply? She's Da Best!
