i highly recommend to those who haven't read this yet. the not so widely published final teaching given to uddhav on krishnji's last day on earth is now widely available. i found it and i cannot believe the depth of elaboration in the techniques of meditation and the unfolding and folding of the universal fabric/creation. much more so than the bhagavad gita. it is technically a part of the overall srimad bhagavatam but not translated/published in the west much. i have no connections with this publishing house or anything just sharing

The new one just came out with Srila Bhaktisiddanta's (Srila Prabhupada's Guru)Purports!!!!! It also has commentary from the ancient and famous saint, Srila Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura. I am really excited, hopefully I have enough money soon to purchase it

    here is the description
The Uddhava Gita is one of the many Gitas associated with the worship of Lord Krishna. Gita means "song," and within the context of devotional literature, it refers to particularly sweet and blessed songs of divine truth, uttered by great devotees or by the Lord Himself.

The songs are outpourings of both philosophy and devotion. Though the Bhagavad-gita is undoubtedly the most famous of these Gitas, in the Bhakti tradition there are also Gita Govinda, Gopi Gita, Venu Gita, Bhramara Gita, Avanti Gita, and several others.

Uddhava Gita is one of the most important of all the Gitas, for it focuses on Lord Krishna's final instructions just before leaving the earth. Moreover, these instructions are delivered to Uddhava, recognized as one of the greatest devotees of the Lord.

For these reasons and others, it is noteworthy that Uddhava Gita has never enjoyed the fame of its sister text the Bhagavad-gita, with which it shares several verses in common. In some ways the Uddhava Gita goes further than the Bhagavad-gita, illuminating the Bhagavad-gita's central teaching of devotion to Lord Krishna and emphasizing the importance of seeing Krishna everywhere, in everyone, and at all times.

Commentary by Srila Vishvanatha Chakravarti Thakura. Summaries & purports by Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura. Translated by Bhumipati Dasa.
