American National Democratic Revolutionary Structuralist Alliance. .

While I have been an advocate for Democratic Structuralism for more than five years, I am beginning to realize that Americans are not ready for genuine democracy. Our society has become so corrupted and degenerate and so hard pressed that there is a lack of confidence in the people that anything that they do will truly change the system.

Also, a large percentage of the population is simply ignorant, self centered and uninterested in any progressive measures that benefit the nation as a whole. These dupes are easily led by sound bite propaganda that is based on the flimsiest lies.

Even more dismaying is the body of lazy, predictable liberals who are actually complacent with their habitual pattern of complaints and in reality do nothing to change things. . .and the mass of hedonists who simply want to consume and be entertained and who really know nothing about politics, considering even the most vital news to be boring.

It is now my belief that Americans will not take the reins of the democracy to resolve the pressing issues that we face, but instead will idle away the time as the nation continues to crumble.

For that reason I have decided that a more robust approach is needed, one that doesn't pause to listen to and be distracted by whiners, idle dreamers, fools or negativists.

It is time to join with other progressives who are willing to work hard, develop a strong leadership, build a strong organization, and enter a direct path to triumph over the ills that face our nation. We can't advocate increased democracy because what little we possess is being trivialized, squandered and misused to create an illusion that the system is working. Neither can we allow the dysfunction of this so-called democracy to slow us down. Time is of the essence. .

Personally, I would like to see our nation evolve to a society of socialists and anarchists who co-exist within a social democracy with a market based economy. But there isn't enough maturity or sophistication in the people for that to happen, and the dangers are so great and the damage that is being done all the while is horrific.

You may think that I am being too aggressive or intolerant, even fascistic. . .and I may think you are living in a fantasy land or are blind to the reality of what must be done. If you see a better path, go your own way. I don't know how you can deny the great harm that is being done by the rulers of the nation, both corporate and political. I don't think there is any justification for the view that "things will just work themselves out."

We must take action!

MEXICO - October 16 - Today, International World Food Day, as declared by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, La Via Campesina is mobilizing globally along with allies in an overwhelming expression of outright rejection of Monsanto and Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs), in the name of food sovereignty.
