Rock 'n' Roll Villain Society Pro Skateboard Decks available July 4th!

RadioStar SF is proud to announce its new line of made in the U.S.A. professional skateboard decks.

The initial run will feature the Rock 'n' Roll Villain Society Logo in White and Metallic Silver on an ALL BLACK deck.

Yes, that's right. A BLACK SKATEBOARD WITH SINISTER LOOKING GRAPHICS. We were quite frankly sick of made in china crap boards with sissy looking graphics that look more suited for Teletubbies than the rock 'n' rollers, punks, and metalheads who comprise our fan base.

"But isn't skateboarding now a good little boy respectable sport with no connection to bad things like skulls and electric guitars?" WRONG! The skateboard belongs to the counterculture, its part of the rock 'n' roll/punk rock lifestyle. We're producing a line of decks that represent that in no uncertain terms.

The whole point of the Rock 'n' Roll Villain Society is to say screw you to all the big corporations who take things that are cool and bad-ass, and make them suck in an attempt to make an extra nickel out of them. They don't care that rock 'n' roll is our culture and that it has meaning and importance to us. But they forget that people always prefer the real deal to the mass-produced imitation. Independent bands like us are taking back the music industry show by show, album by album, t-shirt by t-shirt, and now skateboard by skateboard. Together, we are unstoppable.

Punk rock tested, rock star approved. These are the bad-ass skate decks you have always wanted.

The decks will be available in 7.5", 7.75", and 8.0" sizes in a double kick new school street shape. There will also be a custom shaped super-cruiser/bomber deck, which must remain a secret until the boards actually ship July 1st.

The quality of these decks will meet or exceed the quality of any brand available. All decks will feature a medium concave and seven-ply hard rock maple construction.

We'd like to welcome our new bass player Chris Weir to RadioStar SF! He's an incredible bass player, and one of the downest motherfuckers we know.

Now we feel like we have a superstar at every position. He's quite frankly a much better fit for our style than the numerous boys who have held the slot before.

The Law Shut Down our Video Shoot...

So we were out in the pet cemetery in the presidio, with a full drum kit, the Puppy movie director, a photographer, and a trained miniature schnauzer (and her trainers.) We weren't exactly a threat to society (did I mention the miniature schnauzer?)

We do some still shots, and the next thing we know our bassist is being frisked, hands down on the hood of his girlfriends car (who is also my ex-girlfriend, god bless rock 'n' roll). Our I.D.s are collected and processed, and convinced that we were in fact no danger to the dead animals in the cemetary, let us off without a ticket. But of course we couldn't finish the video without a permit, so we have to go through the process again.

The real killer is that Pam, our photographer, left right before law enforcement started feeling Seans nuts and searching through the car. Those pictures would have been more than worth postponing for.

Yet another Spinal Tap moment...

New Video for Horror Flick Puppy

So we did the theme song for a horror-comedy starring Alice Cooper's daughter called Puppy.

Its about a miniature Schnauzer that kills college girls on trampolines and in the shower. Its the funniest thing you will ever see.

We're finally shooting the Video next Saturday. We expect this to be as piss in your pants funny as the movie. We've set up a video section on our website plus a youTube account, so it should be available for viewing as soon as its completed. We've got some new ideas for new video footage, the other half will be movie clips.

RadioStar SF To Contribute Songs to New Horror Movie!

So this has to be one of the funniest movie concepts we have ever seen.
A movie about a homicidal puppy (which looks like a miniture Schnauzer puppet) which kills girls in the shower (entitled Puppy).
We'll be contributing some songs as well as writing a custom Puppy song,
Look for Jay's girlfriend Stephy Slaughter to get killed in a shower scene and there should be a cameo appearence by Jay himself ("all deadened up" to quote the producer).

Plese don't put the SF in quotes, or brackets as it is a deliberate part of the band name.

We've approved the final proofs for the CD, so now its just a matter of waiting for the shipment of CD's (probably a week or two).We were pretty exacting as to the specs on the artwork and such, which slowed the process down a bit, but now every element of the new album is exactly as we want it. It will be on sale before the end of July.
