Has anyone been to this place in Apex? I can't find any detailed reviews about it. It is located under the Ocean Stars restaurant.
So I was thinking, since it doesn't seem to be the popular place to go, maybe the club would welcome hoopers to come and dance. I don't ever hoop at places with a DJ and dance lighting. Could be alot of fun.
Anyone else interested if they let us come in.

Sat, September 26, 2009 - 4:08 PMWell, I called the place and the person I talked to (assuming the owner) said that the space is big enough but it was not a good environment for hooping. Not exactly sure what she means by that, but I take that as a no.
From the looks and advertising of this club, it doesn't appear to bring in a crowd. But maybe I'm wrong and they have regulars that come each week.

Sat, September 26, 2009 - 5:31 PMWe should pick a night and go check it out for ourselves. Take our hoops but don't take them in .. at first. First, check it out and see if it's hoopable. Then, if it is and if it's dead, ask if we can bring them in and demonstrate what we're talking about. Sometimes people need to see hoopdance to get it. This could be especially successful if we could promote it as something that would draw other hoopers AND entertain the folks who are there drinking. What do you think?
