Yesterday I bid a loving farewell to my 14 year old kitty Marcel. I've written a memorial on my blog.

I am so sorry for your loss.

I said goodbye my beloved dog last Wednesday (I blogged about it also). It was the hardest thing I've ever done. I know how much you are hurting.

Keep thinking about the Rainbow Bridge...you will be with your kitty again someday. In the meantime he happy and healthy and waiting for you. Hopefully my Cookie and Marcel meet up there and play together.

    Take care.

OH sweetie - I just read your blog. I know exactly how you feel! When my first cat died, I went through all the emotions you mentioned. You wind up feeling guilty even though it really was the best thing to help them. Trust that your baby is awaiting you patiently and that another loving furry soul will find you soon.

      Thanks for your note,

      Nahid

    Dear Nahid,

My mother and I are still not over the passing of our kitty in Sept. of last year. She was our best friend, amazingly deep and intelligent, and kept my elderly mother company if I was out of the house. She was 12 and a half years old. Very robust and healthy and her quick decline was a shock to us. As my mother said, "I wasn't prepared to lose her now. She was always so healthy! I thought we might at least have had her another 3 or 4 years!"

The pain is unbearable, I know. Love from us to you Nahid. A hug or two as well.

    Love, Aziza
