Workshop Descriptions

Candle Tray Choreo (11-12:30)
Karen bring her expertise in the use of fire performance to this dynamic and innovative workshop. Come and learn an exciting candle/tray choreography.

Bring your own tray and votive candles or tea lights for this workshop.

This workshop is a perfect taster for those interested in fire performance. Karen uses fire fans and fire fingers in her Chicago performances and will be available for questions to those interested in the use of these props.

Flamenco Passion (1:00-2:30)
Pedralta Dance go back to the roots of Flamenco and incorporate flamenco and sevillana moves into their improvisational repertoire.

Donna’s workshop will focus on beautiful hands and arms and use of floreos (circular wrist movements) and new combos. This is an open level workshop.

More important than the moves and combos is the spirit of Flamenco, releasing the power of duende from within.

Combos w/ Finesse (3:00-4:30)
You will learn innovative ATS inspired combos for solos and groups in this workshop. These combos will be brought to a deeper level through exercises that strengthen stage presence. Gain a stronger connection between not only you and your fellow troupe mates, but a connection with your audience as well.
This workshop is improver level and up.
