ALL TOPICS MUST BE ENVIRONMENTALLY RELATED OR THEY WILL BE REMOVED. Global Environmental and Social Concerns - Awareness is the key to understanding what we are doing with our rubbish. We all need to reduce and reuse products that cause excessive waste because the impact on our only earth and its inhabitants is off-balance. We are running out of room or creating more havoc by not thinking about our role in this situation. Socially it is unacceptable because we aren’t reusing and reducing but rather sending recycled material to other countries that reprocess our recycled rubbish and the effect is devastating and killing people. Then they send it back to us in a usable form. The by-product of sending newspaper to China for recycling is decimating rivers, food-chains, people and entire eco-systems.

Recycling is a good idea but the glitch is who, what, why and how is recycling affecting the world? If we send our rubbish (garbage) off to some 3rd or 4th world country and it has a negative impact on their lives have we accomplished anything of value? Is it doing something in the name of Love or just another way to make money?

My goal is to offer a forum where people may educate one another about the impact of our consumption and the by-products created in packaging and our over usage that creates the cause and effect that is not in peak form. Everyone has a vested interest in our planet and it is important that we understand how to take care of the earth.

This is my dream and I would like to share it with like minded people. This is a global issue and no one is exempt from the reality of rubbish and what to do with it. We are polluting ourselves into oblivion. What would you do and why?
