I don't think it could have been better.
We took about six months to do it...
It was fantastic.

I know some can be shocked and I think I'd be shocked if it didn't happen to myself.
It was a very special situation and setting.

I've experienced several times when groups of friends are sitting around having drinks and talking, and they start this conversation. How old were YOU? How old were YOU? And I just listen and try to avoid it but inevitably they all want an answer so I sit there trying to decide whether to lie and say it was the next time I had sex, and it was my choice, or tell the truth, and it's always wierd for everyone, most of all, me. The second was great. I lived in a co-ed dorm and we were playing some word drinking game called Bullshit and we scampered off to my room together. That's so true!
I'm sure people think I'm having sex all the time, they are so wrong!!
And I'm not the only one, there's this girl all my male friends find super sexy and hot and even I assumed she was having "fun" but then I had a great time with her recently and found out that nope...nothing is happening much...
As for me, it's just the physical aspect of things AND that people see me with male friends and cannot understand we are "just friends"...
Now, I'm not saying I couldn't have sex, I'm sure it'd be pretty easy, depends with whom and what situation...
I'd have sex if at least I liked the guy physically and what he stands for, at least a bit....A big factor is that I know guys are afraid of me cause I'm a single mom and they think they would have to get involved, well, talk to me first!!!!! Ask me, figure it out with me, you might be surprised, you might get laid with me and have fun ahahha

Virginity, huh? Well I was 16 when I had sex for the first time. That's all it was, really, sex with an experienced sort-of-girlfriend who was about a year younger than me, I think I was a lot more interested in exploring sex than she was. We would mostly skip class and make out a lot. An interesting side note: some 20 years later she and I got back together for a few months as sort of a relationship experiment and it seemed to me that she was more interested than me this time around. I haven't heard from her since.
I suppose I think that a strong emotional relationship with a partner has a healthy sex component to it, as far as having sex to satisfy that urge, it sounds interesting but I don't know how I feel about it personally, I haven't thought too much about it. Hmmm.

I was a single mom but married here and there most of my life. Now that my son is in college, I come across as a single childless woman. I don't have little kids at home to keep me preoccupied and tied into a schedule. That is the arrangement I wanted, as a result.
So, I almost ditched my current man because he is custodial with two kids. It is a big difference in commitment, for sure. I didn't see myself ever dating someone with kids, now that my son's out of the house and it's finally ME time, but I love this man. It did take listening to him, as you suggest, for me to get some perspective about the situation.

We were together for a long time after that, maybe 6 months. (At that age that is a long time!) Her dad even showed me his gun collection, real bonding there. Other possibly relevant fact, she was the mother of a beautiful little girl before I met her.

I picked a guy I liked well enough but I knew he would just "stick and move". It really wasn't that big of a deal, sex certainly has gotten better over the years with lots of practice.
