Ideally, each thread is made as a categorical topic of general discussion where a range of related material can be posted under a single umbrella. Become familiar with existing threads so as to appropriately post messages into the thread that best suits it. If you need to make a new thread, let the title be a clear description of this new category of discusions.
Your first or second new-thread post could be a short clarification or introduction as to the general nature and possibilities of that thread so that others quickly grasp (rather than guess) what it's all about.

Rachan
Sat, June 18, 2005 - 6:13 AMHello, my name is Rachan and i'd like to describe a bit about myself and then (quickly) follow with why i think this tribe is important etc...
i've been raw vegan for over a year (vegetarian then vegan for many years before). At this time of writing i generally live in Perth. i also have close family ties with Thailand, as well as childhood memories from Hawaii. My interest tend to be drawn toward all things that are natural. But i'm also getting into the technology of computers as you can see, and furthermore i hope to make documentaries so as to help the world in becoming a nicer place.
I've noted when surfing the web that there are a fair few individuals and small groups of people who have an interest in rawfood communities. So far as now there does not seem to be any one particular website under which to collectively bring all the different interests and localities into common union with each another. If one looks generally at any type of union, there is much to be gained through participation with one another as part of a collective.
Hence this Raw Communites tribe. After toying around with the idea of making a new website, i instead kept things on simple and neutral grounds for us all by adapting to this already existing framework Tribe.net (my thanks to). i happened upon Tribe.net about a month ago and find it quite user-friendly, i hope it will prove suitable enough for our collective purposes, at least for the time being.
Thank you for being here. -

Re: Introductions and Greetings + Please read first
Sat, February 3, 2007 - 8:03 PMHi! I am Soul and I have been posting natures first law's forum for the past 5 months. Trying to expand to meet and connect with more raw fooders. I have been learning and My husband, I , my three kids are all going raw vegan. In the mist of transiting going well for the adults little more slow comming for the kids. They get plenty of greens and fruits and eat a little cerel with fresh made nut milk.
So wow the journey keeps getting deeper and deeper for us and is creating a deep longing for community.
