Still active?

Just wondering if this group is still active. It's been awhile since I checked in due to a lack of computer. It looks like there have been no posts since March. Too bad if we can't keep this going and build on it.

Yes, I realize I am guilty of not yet attending any of the rawlucks you beautiful ppl have hosted already. My work hours get in the way.
But occasionally I meet someone in some out of the way place who shares similar dedication to a lifestyle. Always a wonderful experience to meet them.

So, just checking in and speaking a few words on my mind. Peace and prosperity to all.

In case you hadn't heard, Wisconsin's Official Burning Man Pre-compression event will take place in Milwaukee this Saturday, 3/22.

This event follows the Ten Principles of Burning Man so it's like going out to the desert, except smaller, closer, and a helluva lot cheaper! :)

Art, performance, live music, dance, videos, food and drink treats, sculptures that talk, free stuff, micro theme camps, interactivity, and of course a fire-spinning show and a Burning Man.... even if it's just six feet tall. :) We even have Urban Camping, indoors, by reservation, great for people cming from far away.

Bring your gift or talent to share, and you get in super-cheap... for example, some Raw vegan food to share! Partake in the talents of some of the most creative people around. Ticket info at www.clevian.com/decomp.htm. This event is reserved tickets only, no tickets can be sold at the door. Tickets limited, so get yours soon!

Hi Everyone,

This is basically a repeat of what I sent out to the meetup members but as some of you are not part of that group, I want to be sure this reaches you too.

What a great potluck! The food and socializing were wonderful. Some were interested in recipes and perhaps we can share them with one-another in the this section or under listings. I'm not sure what place is best

And to those who couldn't make this potluck, there is always next month. This is a wonderful community of people.

With happy thoughts for all of you,

Patriq

Great idea. Let's post them here for easy reference.

To start:

Micro-Greens with Lemony Pistachio-Sage Pesto

Grow some baby greens or get them from Growing Power....
then take
a cup or so of pistachios
a couple handfuls of fresh sage leaf
sea salt
olive oil
garlic
juice of a lemon or two
and blend blend blend

this is also good on shredded root vegetables, which i brought to a previous potluck with red cabbage wraps.

Hi All,

I've attached a link to Jim Carey's blog featuring a video of Dr. Ann Wigmore. It's not the greatest quality but if you haven't seen Ann before, here is the opportunity. You may be interested in subscribing to Jim's newletter. On his blog, he will be posting more videos of Ann Wigmore and is weekly adding interviews with people who have experienced healing through raw foods. Here is the link:

raw food classes

Last year, I thing it was early fall, someone found as article in a MIlwaukee newspaper and tore it out for me. Near the end of the article it was mentioned that raw food classes were being held at Whole Foods. I believe they were referring to the one on Capitol, though I don't recall for sure.

Has anyone ever been or know something of these?
