this tribe space needs attention
I still like to buy foods from the health food store however my list there is becoming smaller and smaller I do not purchase anything from a box a can or bottle..that leaves me in the area of the organic produce section. Sometimes I can find produce at reasonable prices not often enough so now I am growing some of my own food Thats a good feeling. I also am able to harvest from fruit trees in the area......
85% of all the food othat is consumed on maui Is flown or shipped here...The price of gasoline influences the daily cost of food....
How much does it take to become self sufficient....We as island residents need to be considering the possibilities of truly surviving as an island isolated community.
