I just wanted to ask which method(s) did you use when obtaining your agent/broker licenses? college courses, proprietary training from real estate firm, city/state training classes??

Wed, April 21, 2004 - 11:39 AMIf you have the self dicipline, online classes are great. Since you're in California, try www.californialicense.com, they will also beat the price on any other license school you can find. They send you a book, you study, then take an online exam. -

In NY State, NJ and many other states, physical attendance at a certified school is required before taking your license exam. The best method I know of is simply to attend one of these accredited prep courses. It won't make you a good real estate agent but it will get you your license.
