Over in RPFS, there is some discussion about the author of Don Quixote coming to faire for several days. He wants to have a poetry contest. I think this means we need Spenser out for the day, and maybe even Sidney. You should check out the thread, anyway. Let's hope the link works so that you can read about it. Then I can try to find Sir Philip Sidney & see if he'll show up as well. If we can get both of you to show up, then it becomes a real contest of poesy.

Re: Dom, your name is being used in vain
Fri, April 6, 2007 - 1:19 PMHi Deena,
Unfortunately I am no longer portraying Spencer, and have moved to northern California. I am now portraying the Earl of Oxford. I'll probably be down for a weekend in May, partly to see everyone and to pick up my Oxford suit too... -

Mon, April 9, 2007 - 11:42 AMWell, it will be lovely to see you, no matter whom you are portraying. I had hoped you might reprise Spenser for the weekend of poets for us, but we managed without. I'll just look forward to seeing you in May.
