I don't like the bodice very much, especially the feather boning.

Thoughts?

Oh, lots of thoughts, none of them nice.

See, I used to do many years as a Scot in faire (16th c.). Truth be told, the info for women of the highlands or islands is scarce, very scarce. There is no evidence that the arasaid was used before the end of the 16th century, yet this site claims it is valid for the 14th century??? We used arasaids in faire, but only as a theatrical means of distinguishing the island/highland scots from the irish (same for wearing a great kilt). Otherwise the info pretty much shows they dressed nearly the same as the Irish until the very end of the 16th century. And Irish women tended to wear cloaks in what few images we have, one was multicolored, most show them wrapped in furs.

Kass McGann has a great article that explains the history for Scottish women. Note that most of the documentary info is for after the 16th c.

The info for scottish women in the 14th century is even harder to find, and otherwise out of my time period.

I won't even go into how clan tartans are an invention of the 19th century by two men. And I can't find any info on what kind of boning the bodice has. Again, it is a basic ren bodice, and it appears to be too long (it is bunching near the waistline) and too wide on the straps on the model in the last pic.
