Nice dye job and tooling. However, real men weren't baldrics. (That was just the name of Blackadder's servant.) Real me also don't -wear- baldrics, at least not if they're trying to be authentic for the 16th century. The style of buckle is off for hangers of the period, too.

Sorry about the spelling - missed that one.

I was being a bit facetious - while a baldric is not proper for formal gentlemanly attire in Elizabeth's time they were used from ancient times to well into the 19th century.

While a sword hanger is more proper with a peascod doublet I wear this baldric over a simple sailors jerkin. Also a theatrical compromise.

As to the hardware - I was using the materials I had available at the time so some compromises had to be made.
