Elizabeth's virginity certified?

I seem to recall that one of Her Maj's suitors had his physician certify her virginity. I can't recall which it was, although it seems to me it might have been a Spanish contender. I''m not even dead sure I remember the basic fact correctly.
Snobs to the rescue?

    I don't recall anyone asking for proof of virginity, though she was examined to see if she could bear children (I think for D'Alencon - but I'd have to check).

      A couple of the Spanish Ambassadors attempted to find out if she was "intact" by attempting to bribe members of her household and courtiers. I think those letters are within the Calendar of State Papers Foreign.
