To MASTER Jellyfish and everyone else who planned this party! Another great one took place. It was so awesome that we had TWO clubs bumping most of the night AND outdoor fun all going at the same time. I hope this was at least partially lucrative for you guys after costs, because you ALL certainly deserve it.

I am humbled by your creativity, can-do spirit and love.

Many hugs and playa-love for a fanfuckingtastic night, much fun and serious revelry.

Still recovering.....

No, THANK YOU for coming, helping, working, contributing in any and all forms - what a pleasure it is 99.3% of the time to be able to interact with such positive creators!! -(the other .7% i'm tired, which = crabby, and theres really no way around that)

You hepcats, space vixens, cosmic frankensteins, and hipster doofus-types all rocked, and i loved walking from place to place, teleporting from the biggest little city to the black rockinest city.
Whats left of my grinch-sized heart goes out to all of you M---f'n burning stars!!!

I see a Chels-inspired "We are All That" sticker run in the near future..........

Big ups to everyone involved in that shindig! Tracy and I had a blast.
I'll be posting info on upcoming monthly camp outs we help organize at a private resort in the Santa Cruz mountains.

  • THANK - YOU!! Mr. Jellyfish et al: Stardate 04:14:2008

I am still in ORBIT!! What a thrill and honor to have in this Reno compression in SPACE!! Yuri's Night was such an event to behold!

Janis the JAM "CAPSULE", What's - his - Keith my co-pilot and navigator and I SKDJAM man had not experienced in many a light year such an energetic, accepting, helpful, creative, spontaneous, eclectic, incredible group of space mutants like: Jellyfish and Zsu Zsu, Grin, Col. Killbuck, D6, Miss Diva many my mind cannot pull up at the moment! sensory overload fer sure!!

All of the Fire dancers who were INCREDIBLE had me spinning fast and furious I got mesmerized by their talent! In the fleeting moments we had to get out to meet the many other space beings we met Saturday night and into Sunday morning were so friendly, appreciative and encouraging! I do regret not getting across to enjoy the Space lounge, Zsu Zsu and the exciting events and close encounters there but the evening went at such a warp speed I didn't realize that I had just gone into a time warp and by the time we exited through a worm hole the earth had completed a revolution and the sun orb was breaking the horizon!! Let's do it AGAIN!! SOON!! I am at your service!!

"The needs of the many out weigh the need of the few or the one"! " We are and will always be your friend." a quote by Spock and our personal sentiments too!

Thank YOU, Gemini, to ALL who busted their sweet little asses to make this event such an outpouring of community and fun!

There are many of you to thank deeply in personal and public ways for your contributions and that will follow in subsequent posts. As a fundraiser, both d6 and I agreed it was a success, and the revenue generated for the playa art installations of Jackbot and Zsu Zsu is very welcome indeed... THANK YOU!

It occurred to me this morning as I felt the return of the familiar gravity here on Terra Firma that all I heard or saw last night was positive energy. One thing that seamed to provide major playa flashbacks for participants was having the event in three locations so they could move "from camp to camp".

    Sincerely,

-A warm and grateful Jellyfish washed up on the beach of your friendship.

      Yuri’s Night 2008 Thank You’s Page 1:

With so many people to be thankful for, please think well of me if you were not included in the list below. We all know that something as magical as last Saturday’s event depends on ALL of us, and below is merely my recollections limited by what a sleep deprived brain will allow. Here goes:
Izard: Split down the middle in black and white with an embrace of ambient sounds most sublime and collaboration on the Cities of the Future in the corner.
Kevan: Delicious deep space chill and last minute curtain design that saved the day! The stand up guy at the doorway to Chill!
Killbuck: Missals, Suptniks, and live painting demonstrations so engaging, with the eye of an interior designer so needed for a Placement Despot. Zsu Zsu's Geeft Me apparatus would not have been as lovely were it not caressed by his brush.
Paula: Rosaria Rose planet chill-- such a fine compliment with pinks and reds. Many chilled so deep they drifted far, far away.
Sabra and Lauren: The Raffle was sooooo fun! I especially loved the little Chinese restaurant to-go boxes so people could select the specific prizes they wanted most to win.
Gemini: Your intelligent presence helped me see the larger picture.
Nathan: Your game show was a delight to be a part of. You are the scariest Zsu Zsu I love! Organizing the food, working the door, the playa cups, and full on over and above the call. Good on you, tranny!
Dave King: For having the common sense to hang on to the burn permit.
Perky: You spin fire like a nimble minx.
Eric: Janis the Jam Wagon is the best emergency music vehicle and you saved the day! Thank you for the techno Rocket man!
What’s His Keith: Laughter, charm, wit, and style. Looking forward to your video prowess!
Goddess Donna: Just inhale, now doesn’t that feel a whole lot better?
A_Delle: She may well be the ENTIRE French space program. I too, appreciate you dear one! Now we play shadow puppets!
Grin A lot: Hell, I could do a book on this guy. Burn Barrel with Nosferatu warmed my space suit, The Zsu Zsu sliding mechanism, and the mechanical suitor powering Jean-Michael! I heard you greeted the dawn in a glorious way.
Jeff: May I call you a friend? Friends help you move, and that’s just what you did yesterday with all the art I could not fit in my car.
Posha: Making the run to the hardware store just because I asked. I’m afraid Feelth took those pretty lights and promises to get them back to you… for a price!

      more to follow...

Juice: You suck! You black hole! Never trust a crossing guard entirely devoid of light reflection! (Love ya, man).
Dave and Sue: MiniMan, with your stewardship was a delight to behold and take for a spin for old time’s sake. The traffic on 4th Street was pretty astounded, and he sure liked getting hugs!
Pinemom and Titwi: Zsu Zsu’s lovely kiss was offered to all along with a whiff of her “Channel No. 2”.
El Keith: Giant lava lamp, disco ball, pimp-ass cane, and the store run to the Melting Pot… shor ‘nuff!
Bob Noxious: Jumping Larry Harvey on a pogo stick, man! That rocket ship was absolutely sensational! I loved your mission control set up and trajectory plotting! Did the monkey make it or did you club him with his own monkey wrench? Great idea on the chill dish!
Kahele: Sometimes life just has a way of making you busier that you can possibly imagine. Your mind can’t even believe it, yet you do it—you actually pull it off! Thank you, pet, for stretching to the furthest to make it happen for our community.
Jess: I wish I could clone you, but then I would miss the original! In a chess game, some open with the knight to lay the groundwork for the rest. You, dear girl, are a knight in gleaming armor.
Cari: Thank you for that spring in your step while setting up. You always lift the energy in the room.
Travis T. (Bliss Nightclub): You built a place for the love of music, and it shows. Taking the time to show a novice DJ the ropes the day of the show. A joy to work with—we simply must do it again!
Eric (Bliss Nightclub): Encouraging us from beginning to end, and hosting our planning meetings and handing us bottled waters. Just plain making us feel welcome and appreciated.
Dave Cherry: I found your playa cup and I’m not giving it back! Sensational handbill design.
Chris Munz: Robotronia visuals, HotShot the Robot, Zsu Zsu’s Geeft Me electronics, the spinning Jupiter, and THE ONLY LIVE STREAMING YURI’S NIGHT VIDEO IN THE WORLD THAT ACTUALLY WORKED!
The Pawn: Spot-on with the spot light—too bad you had to use your underwear for the filter!
HoWOWard: Traces, trails, and puppy dog tails. Master of the fire staff.
Bernie: Feelth did ferret out the truth for us all! Great sniffing, you pervy rodent keeper!
Ben: Only clowns play with balloons.
Cornelius: Only wierdos play with robots.

in response to: Re: Killer Anti Theme Party in Reno April 12th
Damn! Those Reno peeps throw a bad ass party. That was a effing blast. There was a Art Studio/bar that was turned into a real nice chill area with pillows and lounging and performance art about Zsu Zsu (look for more about her on the playa) She is a mythical stuck up french girl whose ex boyfriend bought a ticket to Burningman. Then across the street there was an all night dance bar with a big ass dance floor with a killer sound/lasor/lighting system and great dj's. Then out the backdoor there was a back lot that had fire barrels and art cars and mini man and a 12' tall rocket shaped fire barrel thingy with a fire spinning area with another DJ set up back there. Great turn out too, the place was packed most of the night and into the early morning.

And to you sweet little cleaning elves that tidied up the moho you have my sincere gratitude. Thank You!

            We FUCKING ROCK!!!! hehe
