I work in the inland empire... aka San Bernardino, and unfortunately don't get off of work until 4:30 on Friday afternoon...

I am trying to cast my net wide (so you might see this in multiple places) to find a ride for a friend who wants to come to Casa on Sunday, September 21, but needs a ride from Richmond (east bay). Since I drive down on Friday or Saturday, I cannot bring her with, but can give her a ride home. Is there anyone who is only going down on Sunday who can make room for her? Hey kids, looking for a carpool from Oakland for faire weekends. My car or yours (I can schlep gear too, I have a station wagon). For every weekend except Giggle fest weekend (3rd or 4th? can't remember), I'd prefer to drive down to Casa early Saturday morning (there by 9AM) and return home Sunday night. Let's save some gas!

My friend and I are coming to Casa for the second weekend of workshops and are looking to fill our car. We can fit one more person w/ camping gear comfortably or two and their gear really tightly.

We are leaving from the east bay(anywhere between Albany and Fremont) late evening Friday 15th or early morning(read butt-crack of dawn) on Saturday 16th. We are returning Sunday evening after completing all our workshops and breaking down camp.

Anyone willing to pitch in for gas money is more than welcome to join us; we'll take whatever you can offer. : )

Driver - SF (LATE friday night, back monday morning)

I work until 11pm, so I'll be drivin' the ol' Jeep down from SF at like midnight Friday nights. I can pick folks up either in the TL/Downtown area, or they can come out to Balboa BART station near my house. I have 2 or 3 extra seats every weekend, provided there's not too much luggage in the back. I'll be driving back on Monday mornings (no time constraints on the return trip from *my* end of things).

I'd love to be reimbursed for gas.

Yanna from the porcelain sculpture booth (you know, the winged penis & boob pins) needs a ride TO and FROM faire on the next two weekends (5th & 6th). She usually gets a ride from Rainbow (another vendor) but he will not be attending faire on these weekends.

She lives in San Anselmo. Anyone live nearby or passing by enroute to faire? She does not have a car and it is very important for her to make it to faire. Her sculptures are her livelihood. She travels lightly and will chip in for gas.

Can someone PLEASE help her out? She is a very sweet lady! I would, but she is about 1hr 45 minutes from me in a different direction from faire

Hi everyone. My planned ride for the rest of faire fell through, and so I'm looking for a ride for the remaining 4 weekends of faire. I live in Oakland, but am willing to take BART to any station that's convenient. I don't have much, just a large backpack and a bedroll, so not a lot of space is needed. Returning Sunday is preferable, as I have classes on Monday, but Monday morning is doable. I'd be happy to chip in for gas, and conversation would be lovely.

Hello one and all - I'm looking for either people to take up some space in my car (and help with the gas money) or let me take up some space in their car, for any (maybe even all?) weekends of Casa's run this year - including this coming weekend (Dress Rehearsal).

I've got lots of space in my '91 Pathfinder - but it also sucks down gas like America does Starbucks. Because of this, I'm totally up for riding in your car, if you have one, and contribute equally for the gas bill. As of now, I'm unemployed and available to ride anytime after 11 AM Friday (but must return Sunday evenings for my early class Mondays). Depending on the job situation, that might change - we'll see.

Just for reference, I'm located adjacent to the CSUS campus, off Highway 50's Howe exit. I don't have internet at home yet, so I only check email once a day at most (and, you've guessed it, this is today's internet check, so I won't be around again until tomorrow.) I have room for at least one person (maby two if they are small and friendly), leaving Saturday morning 8:30 from Fremont (about 2 miles from BART station) and returning somewhat early in the afternoon - perhaps around 5-ish.
This is a good opportunity for someone in the area to go down, do some workshops and perhaps a costume approval on Saturday. I have plenty of room in the trunk for costumes and stuff if you want to bring that.

If you live anywhere in between Modesto and Casa and would like a ride, or can get to me and would like to ride with me, it looks like I will have room for possibly 1 (2 if they are light on gear) people in my car to faire. I usually leave friday evening between 6 and 8pm and come home sunday whenever we're packed up and ready to go (including saying g'bye time and all that jazz). My husband has decided not to work faire this year, and this has freed up the space in my car (both from him and his stuff).

So, if you need a ride, feel free to msg me here on tribe. I'm glad of the company as that drive is terrible to make alone.

As long as my borrowed car stays in my possession I'll happily transport. If anybody want to fly into Oakland (occassionally there are damn good deals) it's a 15 minute backtrack for me, but I can be bribed quite easily.
