When I read "newspaper" sunsign astrology, I find that the Scorpio reading is more pertinent than the sun sign's reading. I really like Georgia Nicol's style ( www.georgianicols.com ) and this week she pointed out something that's quite apparent, but never really occurred to me before ... which is that into full summertime, that the sun is right at the top of our Sco Asc chart. There is a double whammy to this, for me, because my sun sign's ruling planet, Uranus, is also in Leo. And many precipitous events have happened in my life in the second half of summer ... or rather, I have pulled the plug and/or struck out in new directions, about August, -ish.

Anyways, this is what Georgia put in her free weekly email forecast for the coming week:

"... This is the only time all year when the Sun is at high noon in your chart, shining down on you. Because this acts like a spotlight on you, others notice you more than usual, especially bosses, parents and VIPs. Not only that, they're impressed with what they see. (Don't question this.) Make the most of this. Now is the time to press your agenda and further your plans, especially plans that need to be approved or sanctioned by people in authority. Someone will ask you to give your artistic input on something - design, layout, pages, rooms, buildings - something. Just do it. Because everyone thinks you're great right now, they'll love your input. ..."
