does anyone have any information about how the pisces moon interacts with the scorpio rising? I think I read somewhere that this can be an emotionally unstable combination. I think I find it burdensome having this combination, in my own life. I dont want to have such intense emotions and so many ups and downs. Yet, on some level I know I create these situations through my choices, I sometimes fell trapped in my own psyche.

Sun, August 16, 2009 - 6:59 AMTry having a scorpio rising with an aries moon. Not fun, at all. -

Re: scorpio rising with pisces moon
Sun, August 16, 2009 - 10:00 AMI can imagine that a scorpio rising with an aries moon could produce some very strong emotions, but an aries moon seems like it can be very dynamic placement especially with a penetrating scorpio rising. -

Re: scorpio rising with pisces moon
Mon, August 17, 2009 - 5:19 AMYup. Scorpio is notorious for being "Extreme", and aries is no better. So that, mixed with my mars in scorpio, plus with my scorpio pluto conjuncting my ascendant, i'm quite a handful! ;) I think that a pisces moon would be a great mix for a scorpio rising. I would love to date i guy with either a cancer or a pisces moon. It might bring some volatile emotions at times, but i think your pisces moon will keep you sensitive and caring, and you won't fall into those more "malicious" qualities of scorpio as easily. look at the crazy mix i have, be happy you have a pisces moon! Neptunian energy is lovely!

Re: scorpio rising with pisces moon
Tue, September 22, 2009 - 9:40 AMaminah- i totally know what you mean! im aries moon, cancer sun so theres always a lot of raw energy deep underneath the scorpio and cancer waters to help make things hot even when things are fine. working out usually tires the aries dog so i can swim safely haha. its kind of like a volcano, but underwater? i guess for aba with the cap its more of a volcano haha but idk! and just as a side order my moon is on the cusp (0.1) so i personally feel a spiritually cloudy neptune root beyond the motives of my moon but theres so much water i cant tell the difference most of the time. when i meditate and still the waters to get a good look its pretty peaceful and i can pull endless amounts of energy from it you know

Re: scorpio rising with pisces moon
Thu, August 20, 2009 - 3:04 AMlatasha, I have sun pisces with Scorpio rising, so perhapse i have some insight into your overwhelmiing emotions, though for me its toned down by a childish curious gemini moon.
Pisces scorpio together offers allot of potential for psychic integration into everyday waking life, most people only get to grips with their subconcious through dreams and drug induced or psychotic modes, but you can reach these states easy enough in every day situations. Try listening to your lower instincts rather then what others around you may be saying or relying too much on intellect. you will be shocked at how much you actually know instinctively about yourself and the world around you. Moon pisces has no boundaries, but you can protect yourself against what is unnessecary with your scorpio ascendant, it just takes wilful focus in the face of adversity, and perhapse those turbulant emotions will settle down and become a harmonious ravine. Trust yourself. Trust your instincts.

Re: scorpio rising with pisces moon
Thu, August 20, 2009 - 8:46 AMHi Latasha. I have a Scorpio rising and Pisces moon. It's a rather difficult combo for me because of my Gemini sun. The Gemini rationality can be competing with the pure emotion of the other signs. On better days, everything works together in a lovely way, with my head being informed by my feelings. On more difficult days, it's an all-out battle as my brain tells me I need to remain level-headed and maintain diplomacy in a situation in which I am compelled to freak out or lash out. I have read that the Gemini/Scorpio mix is a hard one anyway. Now there's a Pisces thrown in on top of it! I see from your profile that you have an air sun sign and wonder if you might run into the same difficulties? -

Re: scorpio rising with pisces moon
Thu, August 20, 2009 - 7:22 PMI have this combo. My emotions are here and there. They have ADD. They are passionate, but short-lived. I tend to not feel my pisces moon until i'm allllll broken down. It could be that I'm wicked tired, or very hungry, or just have had no time to myself. That is when I embrace my escapism and 'go downhill, it's easier'. I have an earthy sun, taurus, and I feel like it grounds me when I might otherwise be a total slave to my capricious emotions and whims.
I feel my scorpio rising far more than my pisces moon though.
Note that other people see me as far more unstable than I am. If I cry, it doesn't mean I have a mental disorder; it just means I'm sad. If I get mad, something justifiably made me angry; it doesn't mean I'm about to bomb a building. People react to my emotions with such ridiculous exaggeration that they worsen my moods when they're stupid enough to mention it. -

Re: scorpio rising with pisces moon
Fri, August 21, 2009 - 9:22 AMThanks for the responses, they are insightful. My sun sign is aquarius so I can identify with the gemini/pisce/scorpio mix. Thankfully the aquarius does provide some objectivity / repression in the moment ,but the repressed emotions eventually rise up. Also I have the planet neptune in my first house so this can lessen the penetrating effects of scorpio and cause greater confusion where clarity is needed. But I should have great instincts, maybe I should just trust my instincts more. -

Re: scorpio rising with pisces moon
Mon, August 24, 2009 - 3:04 AMlatasha, i have neptune in first house too. My instincts have never been wrong, ever. But I have to watch out for paranoia. I guess the best way to deal with paranoia and knowing what is instinct and intuition and what is paranoia, is to try and build the emotion up through your body, and let it unfurl into your mind. Watch something outside of yourself, something that can stop your thoughts and keep you clear, then you will know what is real within you and what is delusion.
I often sit by my window, watching nature, and let my head go, and remember I am in my body, then I feel clarity and everything can fall into perspective from there...The trouble is keeping clear whilst walking in and amongst society. I think people with neptune in the first house dont really have any boundaries between themselves and other people (although this comes in handy for the ablity to do great impressions of others....well, for me anyway), I have to let others go and remember whats most important to me, what spiritual food I need to nurture my souls intestines to retain any kind of clarity when around other people. Nature is most important to me. i remember the earths beauty. -

Re: scorpio rising with pisces moon
Mon, August 24, 2009 - 6:10 PMTo Neph, yes quiet time nature and reflection does help with clarity. Also, the challenge is to stay clear amongst the crowd. I used to rely so much on what I thought was "logic" and didnt listen to my intuitve voice and was frequently led astray. Particularly in the areas of misplaced trust or being compassionate without wisdom. But, I have matured in this area. I like the statement you made about knowing what is instinct and what is paranoia (or delusion,or emotional projection) Do you have more info on this subject a link perhaps? Thanks much. -

Re: scorpio rising with pisces moon
Mon, August 24, 2009 - 7:40 PM"I think people with neptune in the first house dont really have any boundaries between themselves and other people "
This is a huge issue for me. It isn't around judgement (because my Scorpio takes over all that and is extremely black and white about the whole thing), but it is around input. I get way too much input from people (and everything else really). I can get zapped instantly by being around too many people, especially if they are talking amongst themselves and moving. I can't handle all of the input and I seem to only be able to tune it out by tuning it completely out (which means I won't hear them even if they talk to me). I just don't have these filters. I think that's a huge reason why I can't handle being around children. They have so much more energy than adults that I feel instantly bombarded by them when they aren't doing anything out of the ordinary at all. Even so, I go into immediate overload and have to leave. It's really crazy.
I'm also way too tuned in to "everything else." When I was young I could see everything and hear everything. It was like being in a universe full of chattering people at all times and like standing on a busy street of New York with all these people/beings crammed together. Very disconcerting. I learned to tune that out because it freaked people out, but for me it was just normal. I had no idea why I could do that so hearing "Stop it" didn't make much sense. LOL I finally did learn how to stop it so I could function here.

Re: scorpio rising with pisces moon
Mon, September 21, 2009 - 3:03 PMHey yall!!
I have a scorpio rising with a pisces moon, but I am also a sun cap, which sometimes I have unexplained emotions and fellings; almost like a RUSH!! I can't really expalin it, like its from some "unknown" force. Some people have told me that I am very intense and emotional and I'm like "What? Intense? Emotional?," at the same time I can pick-up the emotions of others just by entering a room and could never understand why; its almost like I can just look at them or be around them and feel what thier feeling and not really have any emotion of my own; I absorb all of their feelings and emotions!!
Wierd!!
Very wierd!!
