I do! I understand what you mean about feeling conflicted... goes back to the very different natures of Leo and Scorpio. Perhaps you lean more to the Scorpio side because, in a grudge match, Scorp will always dominate Leo. I feel the same way. I hardly identify with Leo traits anymore. In my youth (I just turned 40), I lived in a constant state of anxiety and emotional turmoil. I felt as if I were a cork in the ocean, forever being thrown about by forces I couldn't control. I would attach to the wrong people, give all of myself, then completely shut off when things went sour. Dramatic ups and downs were my daily reality. As an older person, I have become a lot more controlled and can experience the strength that comes from intense emotional experience, instead of being ripped apart by it. The Cancer ebb and flow and the Leo self-conscious insecurity have taken a back seat to a kind, yet hard, Scorpionic approach. At least that's how it feels.

I've been reading some of the other posts in this tribe, and intimidating others unconsciously seems to be a constant. I am absolutely in agreement with this... people have always attributed a lot more power, strength, and intelligence to me than I actually possessed (!), and I just wish I'd been more aware of this and how I could have used it to my advantage all these years! Ah, well.

I have the same...and when I was younger i was never sure who i was either...being a scorpio rising you are on a life long journey of transformation...and i personally have made friends with it and love to constantly grow....i now know who i am...and i do not hide behind my scorpio side...but i like my scorpio side because it adds depth to my life...my cancer helps me be nurturing and my leo makes me fun loving...i am truly happy with who i am...now that i know who that is...there will be a time in your future...where you too will know this because your a phoenix... ;0)
