Annoyed in Raleigh

Hey fellow road warriors.
I hope everyone's september is going well.
I personally have 7 more flights to take before Oct 2.

sigh...

I just had the most annoying experience in Raleigh's airport. Usually I'm a big fan of the NC town. However...

Did you know this airport has NOWHERE outside the TSA area to meet for coffee, a meal, etc? I dont know about you guys but I often meet colleagues in the airport to powwow before heading to a presentation. I literally had to beg the TSA folks to let me meet my colleague inside her terminal (which was different from mine) so that we could sit down and have lunch and plan our meeting.

The only reason they let me in was because I was taking another flight that night and had a boarding pass, though for another terminal.

Grr...BOO RDU!

I haven't had the pleasure of traveling thru Raleigh yet, but yeah, that would totally suck! Hang in there doll... geesh, you make me feel lucky to have only 3 trips (6 flights if you consider round trip) before Oct 2nd. Hey... Baltimore next week! Gotta love those east coast jaunts.

For what it's worth? Anoka MN, a really sweet town. Whoddathunkit?

Hope to see you at PDF!

      ouf! wierd MN towns!

I'll be in Chicago, Ft. Lauderdale, Philly, Houston, San Francisco before PDF.

Chicago: going to Greektown. Man, good food.
Ft. Lauderdale: the Westin has a bathtub with jacuzzi jets and shutters that open into the room so you can watch law and order from the bathtub.
Houston: I wonder if it will still be there
San Fran: I actually am being "made" to work on Rosh Hashanah. Sigh. So i got the nice room on the Embarcadero and hoping some burners come through for me with someplace to go for the holiday.

Have fun in Balto! It's a great town, actually.

See you in the mud of PDF, baby.
