What's your experience with the best hotel chain to join their "clubs" or whatever to get miles or free stays or upgrades or whatnot?

Mon, November 12, 2007 - 6:26 PMMy best experience has been with Drury Inns. Their Gold Key Club membership has so far given me over 10 free nights of lodging and $250.00 in gift certificates to J.C. Penney. Their 'QUIKSTART" breakfast is one of the better in-hotel breakfasts offered by a mid-price chain, and beats the living daylights out of Super 8's continental breakfast, which varies widely.
I've been a Drury Gold Key clubmember for 10 years now. They've treated me fairly. Thanks, Drury!
