One of my favorite nicknames for her is Madame Torquemada. (Torquemada has gone down in history for his sadism during the Spanish Inquisition. See en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torquemada for details.) So why am I accusing her of being a sadist? Well, anybody who has kept pace from beginning to end through one of her choreography workshops will understand - she works us HARD, until we're dropping like flies! Of course, I mean this in the most loving of ways, and when she taught in Peoria in April she used that term for herself as well.
Another of my favorite nicknames for her is Om il Bata, which is Arabic for Mama Ducky. When she leads tour groups to faraway places, she refers to the people in her group as her "duckies". So what could be more appropriate than naming her Mama Ducky?
So what's YOUR favorite nickname for her? Or, would anyone care to make one up?

Re: What is your favorite nickname for Aunt Rocky?
Thu, July 6, 2006 - 12:09 PMI think I make up a new one every day. It's a challenge to come up with something new for every email. ;-)
I think my favorite, however is: HMQR (Her Majesty, Queen of Raqs)
I love the two you've listed, though!!!
Every dancer at her workshop in Houston would agree with Madame Torquemada. LOL
