The San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of MECDA is proud to present
Morocco of New York, one of the world's great masters of Middle
Eastern Dance, in a rare Bay Area appearance for a weekend of
workshops, a hafla, and a pro showcase.

Join SF/BA MECDA for an exciting opportunity to learn from one
of the great masters of Raks Sharki, Morocco of New York. An
ambassador of our dance, her phenomenal career has helped shape
our dance form. Morocco has conducted original research in
Morocco, actively teaches in Europe, through the US and Beyond.
Her work has shaped the ideology, technique and style of Middle
Eastern style dancers world-wide. It is an honor to host her
for a weekend of music and dance! After the last class on
Sunday, there will be a Pro Showcase featuring the following artists:
