I am SO excited - I'm traveling all the way from sunny Arizona to freeze in NY and take classes with Morocco!! Got the plane tix, and hotel reservations - now I just need lots of warm clothes!

Is anyone else here going to be at the weeklong?

    I'm so jelous !!
I went last year and had the most fantastic time - and I've been promised I can go again next. Everyone was really nice and friendly, she worked us hard, but it was fun for every moment (ok, maybe the start of the warm up on the final day was a bit of a groan), and I learnt loads. If you want to read my report its on my web site - www.letsbellydance.co.uk - its long, but it might give you a taste.
Pls let me know how it goes and give my love to NY (sigh !)

I cant go this year, although I had hoped to, but I have expensive dental work that takes priority on where I spend my cash right now. I really want to go though!

But I will say this, I have been 3 times, and each time my dancer lept forward substantially. This is not a workshop for the feignt of heart. It is a LOT of dancing in not so much time, and serious repition. Thats also what makes it work so darn well. You really will remember the choreos (and they are always good, usable pieces), but your technique will be much much better. Especially if you focus strongly in the warm up.

Plus, it all wraps up with an awesome night at the Lafayette. Its a great place to perform and relax at the end of the week.

Added bonus? I always shed a few pound everytime I take the workshop.

you baby...it could be worse, at least their not covered in snow! Go down to a grocery and ask them if you can come in every day and stand in their cooler to get ready for your trip north hehehe!
