i'll be in Florida during the weekend of Tribal Caravan
so "i" will miss out on being there to shop for RoseHips...

BUT i don't give up easily. Someone is coming over to
your booth to look at all your XLs for me and if okay with you ..
she plans to call me cell-to-cell CA/FL and show me
with her cell cam what you have.

i want like 4-5 of them! So want to give ya a heads up!

Need rosehip for pinstripped pants - any suggestions

I need some advice. I have black with white pinstripped pants and would like a rosehip skirt to go with. I saw a horizontal pinstripped skirt once, but am afraid of what the horizontal lines will do to my hips. Any other suggestions other than vertical pinstripes?

I was wondering if any of you knew it the beautiful dancers, Liquid Hips are wearing rosehips skirts? If so, are they wearing more than one? The have beautiful hip articulations that are amazingly accented by the movements of their costume!

I had an upcoming performance in which their are a lot of great hip movements, I'd love to have them accented as well!

need costume advice!

So, I am hopeless... hopelessly addicted to Melos yet having a hard time putting together my first ATS/Gothic style dance costume. I definitely want one of these Rosehips, but which one to chose?!

The costume pieces I'm working with so far are: Purple spiral Melophoenix pants, black tie top, lots of cuff silver/gold cuff bracelets, a big gold-toned kuchi necklace w/red and blue glass inlays. I also have tons of random costuming bits like corsets and wigs.

What I need: a yarn belt , a rosehips scarf, upper arm dangly bits?, headgear (anyone have suggestions for where to get head-stuff?)

I'm trying to think how to coordinate all this stuff in my head, but I'm more of a hands-on gal. Should I go with some bright swirly colors to complement the purple spirals? More purple? Maybe black and sparkly or something lacey to stay more in the raks spooki genre?

Any advice on which Rosehips to get would be supremely appreciated!

...i tried to look back in previous posts for some info about this, but i couldnt find anything. sorry if this is common knowledge! >_<
i just joined the tribe recently and have a question about the availibility of the skirts posted in the tribe's album.
Some of the older pictures specifically say they are sold out in the picture title, while others do not. i also noticed some pictures are updated with which sizes are left
Is it okay to assume there are still skirts left if it does NOT say anything about being sold out? or should i just contact Rose about availability?

pricing and sizing info

(approximate) sizing
sm up to size 8, med 8-12, lg 14-18, xl 20+
each fabric is so very different but that's a basic guide...
skirts range from $25 - $30 depending on fabric and length(i don't usualy post longer skirts here but i do have them)
basic fabrics are $25 and specialty, stretch velvet/burnouts, glitter fabric, and double layer skirts are $30

when ordering please include your pant/hip size and an email addy for a paypal invoice. i ship priority mail so your skirts should arrive about 2 days after your payment clears.

I'd probably get either a M or L, i dunno the first L i got fit perfectly and i just got a red in large and it's a little big. So i don't know what size i is gonna get. My hips are 36.5inches.

it has been brought to my attention that someone in the upstate NY region purchased one of my skirts and began reproducing it and selling it.
please do not support this behavior.

i have put in my time and creative vision to develop a unique design. i keep the cost as low as possable so that my skirts are acessable to all. the small profit i do make allows me the financial stability to have a schedule that allows me to travel with Jill and Ultra Gypsy and bring you the best in belly dance instruction and performance.

i am saddened by the lack of respect for this by members of my own community.

i am in the process of patenting the design and i have contacted and requested that these ladies cease and desist from selling the knock-offs, if you see them and are tempted to purchase them please refrain. i am willing to take a group order to lower the shipping costs for those of you who are not in the SF bay area.

if you are not buying your rosehips skirt from me, rose, you are allowing someone to profit from my hard work, this is not right.

thank you in advance for supporting the greater belly dance scene by doing the right thing in regards to creative property

please pass this on to anyone who might find it relevant

The red skirt arrived - I'm so very pleased with it, and it fits nicely! I'm due to get a pair of those newer red Melodias (and I've been sacrificing daily to the Melo gods that they will fit!), so as soon as I can get the whole ensemble together, I will snap a photo for you.

i'm just trying to figure out this pay pal stuff and in order to accept non papal payments from y'all i've had to upgrade my account(jeeze, who thought selling a few skirts would be so complicated).

so if ya want to send me a $ order the shipping is $5 for up to 2 skirts.

if you want to pay through pay pal the shipping and payment fee is a total of $7 for up to 2 skirts.
