Hey guys-
Just letting you know that two Fellowship Foundry steins have been stolen recently. (not lost- stolen.) One was a smooth-finished mermaid stein with bite marks around the lip, taken this weekend from Javelins, and the other was stolen last weekend from off of our very own cart- a hammered dragon stein with a red stone (this is an unusual feature, the stones are usually blue) with the word "MACDADDY" engraved on the bottom, with a blue ribbon and bell attached.
The dragon-stein thief actually had the nerve to come buy our booth with it and say he bought it! Sadly, word had not reached from cart to booth about this yet, and he got away.
If either is found, please return to Fellowship Foundry, no questions asked. If the dragon-stein guy is found, and Foundry is too far, please take him and the stein to Sword and the Rose- they'll know what to do with him. *teehee*
I chide about S+R for the most part, but really, these steins both meant a lot to their owners and if you see them walking around the faire, we'd like to know. Thanks!

Re: Stolen Steins!
Mon, May 5, 2008 - 10:02 AMMany things went "missing" this weekend. I find it sad that our community is having the issues it is having currently. -

Re: Stolen Steins!
Wed, May 7, 2008 - 7:41 PMIt's bad enough when things walk away out front and it could have been anybody, but when it's backstage, and much more likely to have been one of us, that's really bad. Why would one of us do this to another? We are family.

Re: Stolen Steins!
Wed, May 7, 2008 - 7:45 PMThere was so much theft going on last year I was so happy to not hear about any this year AND THEN this and the other post about all the vandalism. I am so disappointed that our own community would do this kind of crap to eachother. -

Re: Stolen Steins!
Wed, May 7, 2008 - 9:03 PMIt seems like there's a lot of upset this year- old family not coming back, new people coming in to fill the holes. I hope everything calms down, and we become a family again... a family without little kids who steal from each other. -

Re: Stolen Steins!
Wed, May 7, 2008 - 9:12 PMI think that might be insulting to little kids. They have parents to mind them.
