A lot of you had direct contact with Rich and just aren’t aware. In 2007 he was the guy at the food court Ale Stand that primarily handled the ice pickups. If you were one of those that arrived either before or after the posted pickup times, he was the guy that said ‘Yes’. That was Rich.

Venta recruited Richard back in the Devore days, he was with the company that leased out the soda machines and he came out daily to make sure everything was running smoothly. She knew he would be a great addition to the Beverage team and we were lucky enough to get him.

When he first started and got his tip-out he tried to give it back saying “I’m not here for the money”. Another thing he often said was “you’re to good to me”, which we weren’t, I readily took advantage of his ‘whatever it takes’ attitude and worked that wonderful man to bone.

Richard loved his family, loved Faire, and loved his friends and we will always love him too.
