Lost & hopefully found.

topic posted Thu, April 17, 2008 - 1:07 PM by  ERIC
Hey Everybody

This weekend I lost my pipe and my pale moon necklace at Faire. I lost my pipe around queens stage. It has a bamboo stem and a clay colored bowl. I also lost my pale moon necklace somewhere between parking and when I took my bag off in guild ghetto. Its a black Jack o Lantern with CMC initials on the back of it.

Also ( I lost so much this weekend), my fiance lost her spoon on site somewhere. Now I know it's just a spoon, but it's VERY colorful and made out of (i forget the wood, it's special wood) and was a gift.

So if anyone has seen any of these or has them, you can drop them off at the Privateers hooch or to any one of them or me if you see us around Faire. I'm going to check lost & found and hope a patron didn't ground scoop them. Thank you all for your help.

I lost both of my garters on Saturday! (yes, yes, I know, how can you resists a set-up like that!) They were beautifully inkle woven for me by Josh R. in white, lavender & gold.

I can't believe they both fell off, but there it is, and I have much saddness over it. :-( If you find either or both of them, please let me know.

    Found on Dress Rehearsal Day.

A rather large key near the El Corazon Stage.

I will be sending it in to Event Services because I just re-found it in my basket and really would rather see it gets home.

Well, I turned in the key and lost one of my double-point knitting needles.

It's bamboo, size 8 (5mm), 7" long, light tan in color.

My knitting needle was found! It must have fallen out of my basket in our Wardrobe as my husband found it yesterday just outside the Wardrobe. :-)

Lost: most of my voice and the ability to breathe through my nose. :-(

My son lost two things this weekend. I feel bad because he babysat and washed dishes until his hands were "pruney" to earn the money to get these things but he lost his wood sword (not sure what type it is but it doesn't have a cross bar at the handle but it does have green leather wrapped around the handle). He may have lost this on the way from the parking lot to faire on Sunday.

The other item is a wand that he was given as a gift. It was brown with a gold tip. He receive this on Sunday as well and may have lost it on his way from Cuthbert's Guild to the parking lot at night.

If you find, please return to Monty at Cuthberts. He is devastated since these were the first things he earned on his own or was given as a gift for being a good kid.

    Red cell phone 4/26

    Sat, April 26, 2008 - 5:26 PM
    Jumping on-thread too. :(

Sat 4/26 mid-day I lost my red cell phone, almost certainly in the participant parking disabled area in about the middle of the third double row back from the fence.

I'll check in with Event Services to see if it's found.

Thanks very much if anyone noticed it and turned it in. *hoping*

Lost, tragically, my Lemil Smythe Goblet. Grey, Weathered Hammered Pewter, with a slightly bent column and a few friendly little dents in the globe. Under the bottom, you'll find engraved "Lemil Smythe" and the date '82 (or '83, I can never remember.) It's got some value, so I don't have too much hope that it will turn up, but I do know that if any of YOU found it, I'd get it back.

Along that same theme...Lost, one large wooden tankard. Was left accidentally at the maypole after the Macabre musicians' 12:30 gig on Saturday. When the owner remembered & went back for it, it was gone. Unfortunately, it does not have a name on the bottom, so I seriously doubt that it will be recovered. However, if by some happy chance one of our own picked it up to keep it safe, please return it to the Danse Macabre hooch so it can be reunited with its owner. (Who, incidentally, is not me but is a friend of mine. :) )

        my unsore feet.

I would like to have them back as I apparently wore this set out.... I'm not sure where I lost them but I'm betting somewhere between Tourney and Main Stage during Queens Progress......

Size 10, long toes (balance). Toenails painted frosty pink.

        Thanks in advance.

LOST: A small bag with a necklace bearing a fertility goddess, and a small vial of oil. My daughter spent her entire day's wages on it, and didn't notice that she had dropped it, and is very distraught over the loss.

This is a long shot. A horrible, horrible long shot.

LOST Pale Moon, white heart in the center, two white stars flanking, white string.
Given me by someone very dear. Coulda been anywhere.

I only had it for ONE day. Sooo sad.

I know it's all over but the crying, but maybe someone knows someone who knows someone, etc.
    Thank yous.

Found: my basket that I thought was gone!

Found this past weekend: a handmade feather fan with a wire handle wrapped in silk. I still have it with me and won't get rid of it until it is claimed.
