It's probable that I'm heading up to the Big Bear Pirate Faire this weekend, just to get away, and wear my cutlass. Anyone going up?

Sun, June 8, 2008 - 9:43 PMWell, we made it up on sunday but found it to be very lightly attended...apparently the gathering was in conflict with both Valhalla and Koronaberg, not to mention Ft. McArthur days. Said hello to the few, had a beer, did a little shopping and headed back down the hill. Apparently a few more of us attended on saturday. Hope they do better next year. -

Thu, June 12, 2008 - 8:01 AMLisa and I went up on Saturday eve. and volunteered to work for Sunday. The attendance was very light on Sunday, but those of us that were there had a good time. Weather was wonderful. Very few vendors, one food vendor sold the best Fruit Smoothies ever!!!!
They are going to be doing a Victorian Fair Aug. 5th-6th so if you don't have anything going that weekend, might be a good time to change timeline and go play.
