I had a great time, how about you?
I gave away another large box-full of 'stuff' that I've been holding onto, yet will never miss. I got two pots for my new place, a handmade mug (by its creator), a dry erase eraser, and 'The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test' by Tom Wolfe. I got to enjoy an absolutely beautiful day in the park with some people that I've come to really enjoy spending time with, I both gave poi and devil stix lessons, and received poi and devilstix lessons. I shared great conversation with a guy who'd been living in SF since the fifties. Talked about SF during the late 60s, the Diggers and Free Stores. The effects of acid on the growing culture. Social change, movements, and revolution. Later got to enjoy free mexican food with friends brought over by some mysterious angel. Stepped ankle deep into some mud (with both feet). And was gifted with being taught how to open the faucet at the base of the restroom building with pliers and company while washing my feet. More mexican food, and it was another great RRFM experience. Thank you everyone!

Re: Another Great Market
Sun, August 28, 2005 - 9:44 PMThough I only got to stay until two because of work, I had a great time once again. Once again met some nifty folks, talked, joked, watched kids being kids, watched adults being kids, got me some great books to read, got rid of a little bit of things that hopefully have found a happy home, saw rats, discussed muppets and the bible with a woman from germany, and got some wonderful sunlight. Much love to those who turned out for this months, and I'll see you next month, or soon.
