Best Obscure Dance Songs & Were To Find Them?

topic posted Thu, February 26, 2004 - 2:39 PM by  Kizzy
Hey Guys, My band has been writing some killer tunes but we are always looking for songs to cover as well. Any ideas for '60s era dance, shimmy & shakin' tunes?

Good cd's to get or artists to check out? I can sing most anything from Etta James to Ray Charles.

Thanks,
Kizzy

How 'bout "Do the Funky Penguin" by Rufus Thomas. It's on the Wattstax album. I'm also a fan of Rufus' "Can Your Monkey Do the Dog?"
