Hey Guys, My band has been writing some killer tunes but we are always looking for songs to cover as well. Any ideas for '60s era dance, shimmy & shakin' tunes?
Good cd's to get or artists to check out? I can sing most anything from Etta James to Ray Charles.
Thanks,
Kizzy

Tue, March 2, 2004 - 2:15 PMKnock on Wood- though probably closer to Eddie Floyd than the disco version...I'm sure you could find a good compromise.

Tue, March 30, 2004 - 11:01 AMHow 'bout "Do the Funky Penguin" by Rufus Thomas. It's on the Wattstax album. I'm also a fan of Rufus' "Can Your Monkey Do the Dog?"
